Hi everyone. My name is Kerry and I am a Holistic Therapist.
Up until 13 years ago, I worked for one of the big banks, where I had worked my way up from starting as a cashier at the age of 17 to becoming one of the youngest managers in the area. I had all sorts of roles within the bank, including a Mortgage Administrator to a Financial Adviser. However, this job no longer fitted with my main role, which was being a mum.
I decided to change job completely and retrained as a Holistic Massage Therapist. I instantly fell in love with this and after training, I added things onto my massage skills and learned Pregnancy Massage and Deep Tissue Massage.
I then decided that I would like to learn to become a Nail Technician, primarily so that I no longer had to pay to have my own nails looked after!! I went on a basic course to learn how to carry out Manicure and Pedicures, shortly followed by an OPI course for Gel Colour Nails, and more recently a course in Nail Art.
In between all of these, I have qualified in Facials, Rejuvenating Natural Face Lift Massage and Reiki one and two. I am currently studying Reflexology at the same college in Brighton where I initially trained in massage. It is nice to be back!!
So as you can see, I love a course!!! When I am not working, I am a wife to the long suffering Mick and a mum to a beautiful but grown up daughter, Niamh. Mostly you will find me at home with my two dogs, Alfie the Bold (good dog) and Cedric the Terrible (bad dog!!!). We all love long walks but they are very much fair weather dogs!! I also love cooking and reading and on a good week, swimming!!!
I am really excited to be starting work here with the lovely Helen and her team. I look forward to meeting some of you soon!!
